Wellington Monument

Fancy a shorter walk? Go and visit Wellington Monument. Only a short distance from Rumwell Park. A recently-restored landmark on the edge of the Blackdown Hills, as a tribute to Duke of Wellington on his victory at Waterloo.

Explore Dartmoor

Dartmoor is famous for it's unexpected weather. The moorland is home to the largest open moor in southern England. Known for Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s Hound of the Baskervilles which is set on Dartmoor’s dark and brooding landscape. If you make the drive to visit Dartmoor, make sure to see the tors and Dartmoor Prison.
